Refund policy

Last updated: August 25, 2026

Wasabi Method, LLC (“Wasabi Method,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) wants customers to understand their purchase, delivery, cancellation, return, and warranty options before placing an order.

This Returns, Refunds, and Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) applies to purchases made through wasabimethod.store and other Wasabi Method checkouts that link to this Policy.

Because we sell several different types of products and services, the applicable policy depends on whether you purchased:

  • A radial pressure wave device or professional equipment;
  • An accessory, replacement part, or other physical product;
  • A digital course or downloadable product;
  • A device and course bundle;
  • An event, conference, webinar, or live-training registration;
  • A private demonstration or scheduled service;
  • A membership or subscription; or
  • Shipping, insurance, customs, installation, or other order-related services.

Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits a refund, repair, replacement, cancellation, warranty, or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

1. Contact Us Before Returning Anything

All returns require prior written authorization from Wasabi Method.

To request a return, refund, cancellation, replacement, or warranty review, email:

info@wasabimethod.com

Include:

  • Your full name;
  • Order number;
  • Product or Service purchased;
  • Date of purchase or delivery;
  • Reason for the request;
  • Photographs or video when reporting damage or a product issue; and
  • Any relevant serial number, tracking information, or supporting documentation.

Do not send a product to a Wasabi Method office, warehouse, manufacturer, instructor, or distributor without written return instructions and a Return Merchandise Authorization, if one is issued.

Unauthorized returns may be refused, delayed, or returned to the sender.

2. Order Cancellations Before Shipment

If you need to cancel a physical-product order, contact us immediately.

We will make reasonable efforts to cancel an order that has not entered fulfillment, preparation, customization, export processing, or shipment. Cancellation is not guaranteed after an order has been accepted or processing has begun.

An approved pre-shipment cancellation may be reduced by nonrecoverable costs already incurred specifically for the order, including:

  • Payment-processing charges where legally permitted;
  • Financing charges;
  • Special-order or customization costs;
  • Export documentation;
  • Customs or brokerage preparation;
  • Shipping-label or carrier cancellation charges;
  • Insurance costs; and
  • Other disclosed third-party expenses.

If we cancel an order because we cannot supply or ship it, we will refund the amount required by applicable law, including applicable shipping charges when legally required.

3. Radial Pressure Wave Devices and Professional Equipment

Wasabi Method devices are high-value professional equipment that may require specialized preparation, testing, documentation, insured shipping, and regulatory review.

Change-of-Mind Returns

Device and professional-equipment sales are generally final once the product has shipped.

We do not ordinarily accept device returns because a purchaser:

  • Changed their mind;
  • No longer wants or needs the device;
  • Did not obtain financing, clinic approval, licensure, or regulatory authorization;
  • Did not confirm local scope-of-practice requirements;
  • Found a different device or lower price elsewhere;
  • Expected a different clinical, patient, reimbursement, or business outcome; or
  • Is unable to import, install, operate, or use the device legally in the intended jurisdiction.

Customers are responsible for reviewing product specifications, inclusions, professional-use requirements, shipping costs, regulatory status, and local laws before purchasing.

Exceptional Return Requests

At our discretion, we may consider a written return request for an unopened, unused, uninstalled, and undamaged device submitted within 14 calendar days after confirmed delivery.

Approval is not guaranteed.

If approved:

  • The product must be complete and in its original packaging;
  • All accessories, manuals, cables, cases, components, and promotional items must be included;
  • The customer is responsible for approved return shipping and insurance;
  • The shipment must use a trackable carrier and comply with our return instructions;
  • A restocking fee of up to 20% of the device purchase price may apply;
  • Original shipping, insurance, customs, brokerage, installation, training, and payment-processing costs are generally nonrefundable where permitted by law; and
  • Any damage, missing item, excessive handling, or diminished value may be deducted from the refund.

A return will not be treated as accepted until the product has been received, inspected, and approved.

Opened or Used Devices

A device that has been opened, installed, activated, operated, used in a clinical or personal setting, altered, or removed from its complete original packaging is not eligible for a change-of-mind return.

This restriction reflects product integrity, hygiene, safety, traceability, and regulatory considerations. It does not limit rights concerning a verified defect, incorrect shipment, warranty claim, or mandatory consumer guarantee.

4. Accessories, Replacement Parts, and Other Physical Products

An unused, unopened, and resalable accessory or physical product may be eligible for return if:

  • You contact us within 14 calendar days after delivery;
  • We approve the return in writing;
  • The item is returned complete and in its original packaging; and
  • The item has not been installed, used, damaged, altered, or contaminated.

Unless the product was defective, damaged in transit, or sent incorrectly:

  • The customer is responsible for return shipping;
  • Original shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable;
  • A reasonable restocking fee may apply if disclosed during return authorization; and
  • Any missing item or reduction in value may be deducted from the refund.

For safety and hygiene reasons, opened transmitters, applicator components, consumables, or products intended to contact a patient or treatment surface may not be returned for change of mind.

5. Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Shipments

Inspect the shipment promptly after delivery.

If a package arrives visibly damaged, incomplete, or incorrect:

  1. Photograph the exterior packaging before discarding it;
  1. Photograph the shipping label, product, internal packaging, and damage;
  1. Retain all packaging and included materials;
  1. Note visible damage with the carrier when possible; and
  1. Contact us within five business days after delivery.

Failure to report visible shipping damage promptly may affect our ability to recover the loss from the carrier or insurer. This reporting period does not eliminate a right that cannot legally be waived.

We may request additional photographs, video, diagnostic information, an inspection, or return of the affected item.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, we may:

  • Replace a missing or damaged component;
  • Arrange repair;
  • Replace the product;
  • Submit an insured-shipping claim;
  • Issue a partial refund; or
  • Issue a full refund.

Do not discard damaged products or packaging until we confirm that they are no longer needed for inspection or a carrier claim.

6. Device Defects and Warranty Claims

The Wasabi Method radial pressure wave device includes a one-year manufacturer’s warranty on parts, subject to the applicable warranty document, owner’s manual, sales agreement, and mandatory consumer law.

A suspected defect is handled as a warranty matter rather than a standard return.

To request warranty support, provide:

  • Your order number;
  • Device serial number;
  • A description of the issue;
  • Photographs or video showing the problem;
  • Relevant error messages;
  • A description of troubleshooting already completed; and
  • Information about installation, use, maintenance, and storage.

We may require remote troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, inspection, return of a component, or evaluation by an authorized service provider before determining the appropriate remedy.

Depending on the warranty and applicable law, the remedy may include:

  • Technical assistance;
  • Repair;
  • Replacement of a part;
  • Replacement of the device; or
  • Another legally required remedy.

Warranty coverage may not apply to damage caused by:

  • Misuse or operation contrary to instructions;
  • Accident, impact, neglect, or unsuitable storage;
  • Unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification;
  • Use of unapproved parts or accessories;
  • Improper maintenance or cleaning;
  • Electrical supply problems;
  • Liquid intrusion;
  • Shipping performed outside approved return procedures;
  • Normal wear; or
  • A cause excluded by the applicable written warranty.

A manufacturer’s warranty operates in addition to consumer guarantees or statutory rights that cannot be excluded.

7. Digital Courses and Educational Products

Digital courses, educational modules, videos, downloads, and electronic resources are delivered electronically and cannot be physically returned.

Before Digital Access Begins

If you purchased a digital course by mistake and have not accessed, streamed, downloaded, or used any portion of it, contact us within seven calendar days after purchase.

We may verify course activity before approving the request.

After Digital Access Begins

Digital-course and downloadable-product purchases are generally nonrefundable once:

  • Login credentials or access have been provided;
  • Any course lesson or video has been opened;
  • A resource has been streamed or downloaded;
  • Course materials have been accessed;
  • An assessment has been attempted; or
  • A certificate has been issued.

This restriction reflects the immediate delivery and proprietary nature of digital educational content.

Refunds may still be provided when:

  • The same course was purchased twice by mistake;
  • Wasabi Method cannot provide the purchased access;
  • A material technical issue within our control prevents access and cannot be resolved;
  • The product was materially misdescribed; or
  • Applicable law requires a refund or other remedy.

Dissatisfaction based on personal preference, failure to complete the course, lack of professional recognition, a change in scope of practice, or an unmet clinical or business expectation does not ordinarily qualify for a refund.

8. Device and Course Bundles

When a bundle includes both physical equipment and digital courses, each portion is governed by the policy applicable to that component.

If digital-course access has begun, the digital portion is generally nonrefundable.

If we exceptionally approve the return of a bundled device after course access has begun:

  • The retail or allocated value of the accessed courses;
  • Applicable shipping and insurance;
  • Nonrecoverable order costs; and
  • Any approved restocking or diminished-value deduction

may be deducted from the refund.

Returning a physical device does not automatically cancel or refund digital course access.

If the entire bundle is canceled before shipment and before digital access is provided, the order may be eligible for cancellation under Section 2.

9. Events, Conferences, and Live Training

Unless the applicable event page or registration agreement states otherwise, registration fees for conferences, summits, seminars, and live training are generally nonrefundable because seating is limited and venue, faculty, catering, equipment, and production commitments are made in advance.

Registration Transfers

If you cannot attend, you may request to transfer the registration to another qualified attendee.

Transfer requests must:

  • Be submitted in writing;
  • Identify the replacement attendee;
  • Be received within the deadline stated for the event;
  • Meet applicable professional eligibility requirements; and
  • Be approved by Wasabi Method.

A registration may not be resold for profit or transferred through an unauthorized marketplace.

Event Changes

Speakers, schedules, topics, venues, formats, demonstrations, and continuing-education availability may change without creating an automatic right to a refund.

If Wasabi Method reschedules an event, registration may be transferred to the new date or handled according to the event-specific terms and applicable law.

Event Cancellation by Wasabi Method

If Wasabi Method cancels an event without providing a replacement event or other agreed alternative, we will refund the registration fee paid directly to Wasabi Method.

Except where required by law, Wasabi Method is not responsible for independently purchased:

  • Airfare;
  • Lodging;
  • Ground transportation;
  • Meals;
  • Visa expenses;
  • Lost work;
  • Travel insurance; or
  • Other incidental expenses.

Attendees should purchase flexible or insured travel arrangements.

10. Virtual Events and Webinars

Virtual-event or webinar fees are generally nonrefundable after:

  • A live access link has been delivered;
  • The attendee joins the event;
  • The event begins; or
  • Recording access is provided.

If a technical problem within Wasabi Method’s control materially prevents access and we cannot provide a recording, replacement session, or reasonable solution, we may issue a credit or refund.

Problems involving the attendee’s internet service, equipment, browser, firewall, email filtering, or incompatible technology do not ordinarily qualify for a refund.

11. Private Demonstrations and Scheduled Services

Private demonstrations, consultations, and scheduled services reserve personnel and appointment time.

Unless different terms are stated when booking:

  • A cancellation received at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment may be rescheduled or refunded;
  • A cancellation received less than 48 hours before the appointment may be nonrefundable;
  • A missed appointment may be nonrefundable; and
  • We may allow one rescheduling request at our discretion.

If Wasabi Method cancels a scheduled service and cannot provide a reasonable replacement time, the amount paid for that service will be refunded.

12. Memberships and Subscriptions

You may cancel a recurring membership or subscription through the available account tools or by contacting info@wasabimethod.com.

Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not ordinarily create a refund for:

  • The current billing period;
  • Previously billed periods;
  • Membership benefits already used;
  • Content already accessed; or
  • Discounts already applied.

If an incorrect renewal charge occurs after a properly submitted cancellation, contact us promptly so we can investigate.

Nothing in this section limits a cancellation or refund right required by applicable automatic-renewal or consumer law.

13. Shipping, Insurance, Customs, and Order Fees

Shipping, insurance, customs, brokerage, installation, inspection, international-trade, and other order-related fees reflect services or costs associated with a specific transaction.

These charges are generally nonrefundable once the relevant service has been performed or the cost has been incurred.

If an order is canceled before shipment, we will refund any portion of an order fee that has not been incurred, subject to applicable law.

The following are ordinarily nonrefundable when already incurred:

  • Carrier charges;
  • Insurance premiums;
  • Export or import documentation;
  • Customs brokerage;
  • Inspection fees;
  • Storage charges;
  • Address-correction fees;
  • Failed-delivery fees;
  • Return-to-sender charges;
  • Special handling; and
  • Payment or financing charges where legally permitted.

If we fail to ship an order and applicable law requires a full refund, we will refund the legally required shipping, handling, insurance, and related charges.

14. International Returns

Do not return an international shipment without written authorization.

An approved international return must comply with our instructions concerning:

  • Carrier selection;
  • Insurance;
  • Customs declarations;
  • Return authorization numbers;
  • Product classification;
  • Shipping documents; and
  • Destination address.

The customer is responsible for avoiding unnecessary duties, taxes, or brokerage charges on a return shipment.

Unless the product was defective, damaged, incorrect, or another remedy is required by law, the customer is responsible for international return shipping, insurance, customs, brokerage, and related costs.

Wasabi Method is not responsible for an unauthorized international return that is delayed, rejected, seized, assessed additional charges, or delivered to an incorrect location.

15. Return Condition and Inspection

Returned physical products must include every item originally supplied, including:

  • The primary product;
  • Accessories and components;
  • Cables and power supplies;
  • Cases and protective packaging;
  • Manuals and documentation;
  • Promotional items; and
  • Any other bundled material.

We may inspect and test a returned product before approving a refund.

A refund may be reduced or denied if a returned item is:

  • Used or altered;
  • Incomplete;
  • Damaged after delivery;
  • Improperly packaged;
  • Missing identifying labels or serial numbers;
  • Contaminated;
  • Returned without authorization; or
  • Different from the product originally supplied.

We will explain any material deduction or denial.

16. Return Shipping

Unless the return concerns a verified defect, shipping damage, incorrect item, or another circumstance for which Wasabi Method is legally responsible, the customer pays return shipping and insurance.

Approved returns must be:

  • Shipped to the address provided in the return authorization;
  • Properly packed to prevent damage;
  • Fully insured for their value;
  • Trackable; and
  • Sent within the stated authorization period.

Wasabi Method is not responsible for loss or damage occurring during an unauthorized or customer-arranged return shipment.

If Wasabi Method provides a prepaid label for a change-of-mind return, the cost may be deducted from the refund where permitted.

17. Refund Processing

After an authorized return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method unless:

  • A different method is required by law;
  • The original payment method is unavailable;
  • The purchase was financed; or
  • We agree to another method in writing.

Wasabi Method generally processes an approved refund within 10 business days. Your bank, card issuer, Shopify, financing provider, or payment service may require additional time to post it.

Refunds involving financing may be paid directly to the financing provider and applied according to the financing agreement.

Shipping, order fees, digital-content value, restocking charges, damage, missing items, and other authorized deductions may reduce the refund.

18. Promotional Items, Discounts, and Gifts

If a returned order included a free product, promotional item, bundle discount, gift card, or purchase-based benefit, the value of that benefit may be deducted unless it is returned unused and complete.

Partial returns from a discounted bundle may cause the retained items to be repriced at their regular individual prices.

Promotional codes and gift cards generally have no cash value and are not refundable except where required by law.

19. Exchanges

We do not guarantee direct exchanges.

When appropriate, we may:

  • Replace a damaged or incorrect item;
  • Exchange an unused accessory;
  • Apply an approved credit toward a replacement;
  • Replace a defective component under warranty; or
  • Ask you to return an approved item and place a new order.

Any price difference, shipping charge, tax, or fee associated with a voluntary exchange is the customer’s responsibility.

20. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the concern.

When responding to a chargeback, we may provide the payment provider with relevant order, delivery, account, course-access, communication, return-policy, and transaction records.

This section does not limit your right to dispute an unauthorized transaction or exercise a lawful payment-card or consumer-protection right.

21. Australian Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

For a major failure, you may be entitled to reject goods and choose a refund or replacement, or cancel a service and receive a refund for the unused portion or compensation for reduced value. You may also be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You may be entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure is not a major failure.

These rights may apply independently of our change-of-mind policy and any manufacturer’s warranty.

22. European and United Kingdom Consumer Rights

If you purchase as a consumer in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, mandatory rights concerning cancellation, withdrawal, conformity, refunds, legal guarantees, and digital content remain unaffected.

Exceptions may apply to:

  • Digital content supplied immediately with your express consent;
  • Services fully performed with your consent;
  • Customized or personalized products;
  • Sealed goods opened after delivery where health or hygiene protections apply;
  • Event or leisure services provided on a specific date; and
  • Business or professional purchases.

Where required, checkout may ask you to consent to immediate digital delivery and acknowledge how that affects a statutory withdrawal right.

23. Other Mandatory Rights

Nothing in this Policy excludes or reduces any remedy, warranty, consumer guarantee, refund, cancellation right, or liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

If a provision of this Policy conflicts with a nonwaivable legal right, the legal right controls.

24. Policy Changes

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our products, Services, fulfillment practices, warranties, events, or legal obligations.

The version in effect when you place an order generally applies to that transaction unless:

  • A later version gives you greater rights;
  • Applicable law requires otherwise; or
  • You agree to revised terms.

The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.
